UFC rigs liyoto VS CB so liyoto can retire soon.
The rigged fight between liyoto machia and CB dollaway........ a simple karate kick to the stomach and all of a sudden CB just decides to give up instantly without even a punch......... You can tell me CB hasn't taken shots to the ribs in training before... others have taken the same shots wasn't any instant knock out.
Now if you think about it lyoto is abou to turn 40 soon enough and he still didn't make it to the hall of fame. So this is the perfect way to get him a rematch PLUS a perfect way to rig the win after liyotos loss.
After all we dont want a lose to be in the hall of fame right so he almost NEEDED this win to retire at 40.
I mean really the rib bones are much larger then the bones in his foot and CB never complained about any broken ribs on twitter or anywhere else.
he just layed down and let liyoto win its rigged maybe rebok is teaching dana white how to rig fights to get the ones people really want to see........
anyways this was a massive waste of time and money for everyone just to fake a win for liyoto to make him look" amazing oh wow hes so deadly"!!! yet..... no broken bones didn't strike with the shin AND he didn't KO CB is stoppage. I guess since liyoto is going to hit the big 40 hes planning on retiring and dana knows it.
the perfect rigged fight, UFC turning into a real sport (rigged).

my opinion on Jon Jones and Daniel Cormier brawl at weigh ins
Yes this is supposed to be the "champ" John Jones who is supposed to represent this sport. If jon really was a champ then he would have the right mind to be the bigger man and not strike.
Daniel Cormier just didn't want his rivals "dirty face" against his... i dont blame him but you don't see cormier throwing any punches.....
Sure the shove was low but i mean what straight guy want to touch another straight guys face with his face? i don't blame Daniel Cormier at all.
Jones you get -100 respect points in my book. very childish behavior, especially the little tough guy act at the end. A TRUE champion controls their emotions.
I bet he would have acted differently if dana white was breaking them up. they also should hire Brock Lesnar as security.

Why xbox kinect could change martial arts.
First of all kinect is a sensor for xbox that literally puts your body from head to toe inside of an invisible 3D box. this means that you could get potentially super effective virtual training.
xbox 360 Kinect sports: this game is my favorite kinect game and its filled with fun activities and sports. however the main reason i am talking about it is for the boxing part of the game. In my opinion and experience it has a lot of potential.
"why would i play kinect boxing instead of going to a real boxing gym?"
its not about substituting real person training but adding it to the training regimen.
its not about substituting real person training but adding it to the training regimen.
- It is basically like virtual interactive shadow boxing.
- you get to practice any punch you want at full power without hurting anyone.
- You are striking the air so your muscles get a new workout having to pull back full power punches.
- teaches you to always keep an eyes on the target.
- it helps to increase reaction time for blocking, countering and striking openings.
- you can train in your underwear!
- no wasting gas getting there.
- play on your own time when you are free no forced schedules.
- no fee's just log on and play.
- 100% no risk of brain injury to either opponent.
- the game requires you to rotate shoulders for haymakers so you know if you delivered a big punch.
- No ego's or other people trying to show off.
- you can choose to play with mic on or off.
- its an awesome way to top off a workout after working out at a boxing gym.
- PUNCH AS FAST AND AS HARD EVERY TIME they will never get knocked out till HP is gone so forces you to fight.
- its fun !
me playing kinect sports been level 100 forever now, gamer tag Jersm5.

types of heavy bags what they offer/ swinging bag VS free standing.
| Ali putting in work! |
types of heavy bags, what they offer and swinging bag VS free standing so you know what to get.
Heavy bags are a irreplaceable tool in many martial arts and gyms for many reasons. The heavy bag offers benefits such as increasing strength, endurance, striking skills and bone density. The heavy bag comes in many forms and can be great for certain situations. The heavy bag offers a work out that no weights can compare to when it comes to practicing strikes.
Swinging bags:
The swinging bag comes in various types and is generally hooked up to a wooden or metal beam with chains and bolts. The swinging bag is generally the most widely used bag because the swinging offers the opportunity to dodge, counter and attack it while its moving.Another added benefit of anchoring it to your ceiling is that you do not ruin the floors and you can easily put it up and take it down in any gym, tree branch, metal poles, rafters, wall anchors or bag stands. anything that is strong enough to wrap a chain around and hang it off. there are also many new types of anchors, a simple eye bolt might last for a while till metal fatigue strikes. i have gone trough 5 eye bolts and a large spring because the constant bobbing an dead weight induces metal fatigue. (i have a 120 pound bag sand bags)
Type A. boxing bags.
| rocky marciano 100 and 200 pound bags |
Some people might not like this type of sand bag filled technique because the bottom part of the bag ends up getting very hard. this means for people who do not know or if you accidental strike the lower half (technically striking bellow the belt in boxing) then you could get hurt if you aren't use to it.
On the flip side the benefit of having compact sand on the bottom of the bag is a blessing to some. Martial artists like Kyokushin karate or shaolin practitioners regularly strike sand bags, wood and other hard surfaces. The strikes create small breaks in the effected bones struck at a extremely small level. however your body does adapt and heals the small fractures creating denser stronger bonds in the struck bone. this concept works for muscles you must "rip" them so they can heal and improve. "no pain, no gain."
Of course you can still get softer bags and i strongly recommend getting both. the softer bag can be used to practice strikes at full power. another use is using them as dead weight toss it around, take a jog with one on your shoulders, use it for ground and pound, sit on it and strike the "hard spot" for bone density fists and elbows.
Type B. kick boxing bags.
Kick boxing bags designed different to cater to a different style of martial arts. since in boxing there is no reason to strike under the belt a kick boxing bag is generally longer and thinner. The reason for this is that in kick boxing and other martial arts you can kick/knee the legs, solar plexus, floating ribs and the head. For this reason the bag has to be longer to be able to strike all targets.
These bags are generally pretty awkward when it comes to using it as ground and pound. some may be too thin or soft but of course there are tons of new types of bags coming out and already out. generally you can use it for the same uses as a boxing bag besides the compact sand part is harder to find if at all.
Type C: Wrecking balls.
The wrecking ball is a unique punching bag with its own unique uses. one of the main reasons people like to have it in the gyms is because it offers all angles to strike. Unlike a boxing or kick boxing bag one of their downfalls is how its hard to practice upper cuts and shovel hooks on a bag that is a vertical cylinder.I love this type of bag and i also seriously recommend it to any serious boxer or anyone wanting to get killer hooks/shovel hooks/ upper cuts in all directions. it can also be used for kicks in all directions even that ladies favorite move the groin strike with the shin.
Anchors:
there are many new inventions for anchors sold. they are hard to find localy but easy to find online, ive gone trough about 5 eye bolts just from metal fatigue. i was also forced to remove my 120 pound bag due to excessive vibrations on the ceiling using just an eye bolt. springs can also be used to reduce the dead weight tugging.Free standing bags:
Free standing bags are a newer version of the punching bag and offer its own unique attributes for certain situations. The free bag is basically a bag on a stick supported at the base by weight. the stick or stem in the middle usually is adjustable. the containers surrounding the stem can be filled with water, sand or rocks.
The free standing bag is generally frowned upon because once filled its extremely hard to move huge containers filled with water, sand or rocks. the plastic containers rock back and forth scratching and scuffing any surface under them. I have my free stander tucked in a corner.... there is a perfect circle worn out of the floating floor i will replace someday.
further more many, people consider them "weak" that they break easily. although it may be true since ive had one for well over 6 years and breaking it ended up being a blessing in disguise. One day i was practicing my thai clinch holding the bag with with arms and kneeing it as hard as i can. I ended up snapping the stem so anytime i hit one side it flopped over... then i had a good idea.
How to break a free stand bag and make it better then new:
If you ever purchase a free standing bag pull out the stem and cut it right in half sine its going to happen someday anyway.
STEP 1. find an arm full of scrap 2x4's and cut them so they fit perfectly inside the stem. find some smaller pieces to totally stuff the stem so no wood moves inside.
STEP 2. take the other half of the stem and put it back on lining it up to its other half.
STEP 3. secure the the top by using box tape and wraping it around the cut. you may choose to add a few nails trough it but i did not.
now you have a virtually unbreakable stem via human strikes.

Kinect sports how to beat a spammer!!
I love this game even though sometimes it can get frustrating. of course this game is not real life and there are some down sides but up sides too for boxing training. one of the up sides is that you can swing as hard as you possibly can on every punch and never ever hurt the opponent in real life.
you have no chance of ever getting any kind of head trauma but still get the full adrenaline filled work out of doing combat against other real people.
one of the main things you cannot avoid in this game is that you cant walk around so SPAM was an issue, in order to stop spam from being all powerfull, blocking was invented in kinect sports.
blocking is used to get a power up on your next punch and thus punish the opponent for punching your block.

(ADVANCED) kinect boxing tips
Boxing advanced tips, tricks, FAQ.
Advanced punching kinect sports. Once you have the "big" punches and "small punches" mastered (see earlier tips if not). there are a few advantages you should know for each type of punch.
NOTE1: at the start of the game at sign in theres a square that shows your good possition.. listen to it! if you are too close to the kinect your arms seems to go outside that square and wont reach the other guy... NOTE 2: do NOT put your arms behind your back if you are about to punch or else it wont punch right.
(This part of the guide is assuming you are a right hand fighter. if you are south paw simply imagine all the rights as left and lefts as right.)
Left hand punches: typically you will not do much damage with the left hand. In a boxing stance usually your left shoulder should be ahead taking away power. typically a not so loud "pop" sound.
Left Jab: punch with not much power not pushing back the enemy but simply getting a point and part of a bigger combo. evne though the jab is weak you can throw as many as you want befor doing a big punch with the right hand.
Left hook: typically a bit slower the the jab but still good to set up combos. similar to the jab.
Left uppercut: also a slower punch then the jab and basically the same as the left hook damage and speed wise. Its mostly used for a flashy KO at the end if you can land an upper cut it will daze the enemy in a dead man walking way.
Right punches: typically the strongest punches and the Knock out punch. A bit right hand punch has a "Pow" sound.
Straight right cross: This punch is probably the strongest punch or should be for most. the advantages of the right cross is its speed you can easly go from blocking to a right cross punch, this is great stunning spammers. If you knock out a person with a right cross they fall on their backs for a decent flashy KO or knock down. normal knock back time to the enemy when they get hit.
Right hook: This punch is basically the same as the right cross with one main difference. When you hit a person with a BIG right hook they get knocked back. BUT they acutally come back faster allowing you to hit then with many big right hooks in a row. this throws off the rythm and can catch your enemy off guard not realising they are back in the fight so soon after being hit. When koed by right hooks it lays the person down throwing them to one side. decently flashy KO and can be brutal looking.
Right uppercut: This punch is the hardest do land and works differently then all the other punches. If you want to perform a right upper cut you actually need to do a small squat then you puh yourself up againststraight while throwing a upper cut. This knock back is about as long as the right cross. When koed by Right upper cut with a big uppercut it launches whips their heads back launching them into the air for a VERY flashy KO. this is my favorite finishing move. I will acutally jump my feet leaving the ground when i throw this upper cut as the finishing move. it will show up in the replay you see your avatar jump. probably the flashiest KO you can get.
The ropes: not many realise it but if you can keep hitting your opponent with 1 big hit punches and you manage to push them against the ropes. The ropes acutally reducec your push back time too. So you can do big punches faster since they get come back faster. this can play a part in confusing your enemy but also can confuse the attacker if he does not know they come back faster. this is an advantage from being a vert agressive fighter. combine with hooks for even faster big punch possibility.
COMBOS:
5 punch/jab stun: This is one i like to use i found it myself and my jabs are best for this. basicalyl if you can land 5 good decently strong jabs on the persons stomach or face in a row without getting hit yourself you can stun the enemy. this can also apply to other punches like small hooks and uppercuts instead of jabs and it has to be Fast and hard good hits trying to move your left shoulder back. typically this combo works on a person that blocks their face all the time. the 5 hits seem to be the minimum needed to stun a person without using blocking. the best way to assure the stun is end the 6th or 5th punch with a BIG punch a right punch.
3 punch win: basically if you face a spammer if you get 3 power ups dealing the most damage simply do one big right punch to stun them. Then while they are stunned if they keep punching just block those get another 3 power ups. then wait till they are back to normal and stun them again. by then they are just about dead HP wise and probably still spamming punches so repeat 3 power ups sun and they should be dropped by the 3rd stun. 3 punch win.
Strategies:
Anti spam technique 1: blocking is the best anti spam weapon.
Anti spam technique 2: less effective at times but keep them away by simply doing one big punch landing it befor the spammer. this wont assure you knock them down 3 times in a round.
Anti spam technique 3: if you start the game and you see the enemys aarms flalling like crazy then you are almost 99% sure they are spammers.. block stun and stun them if they keep going its a easy win for you.
Anti blocking technique 1: if you face a book blocker and you are also a good blocker that does not spam chances are you are going the 3 rounds. In this case you want to win with POINTS. You need to look at your enemys block and punch right when they move their block with only one big punch at a time. If he gets 1 power up dont hit him again till its gone Or if you are good just keep him back with 1 big punch over and over.
Anti blocking technique 2: if you are facing a good blocker simply try to land quick punches for points again and wait for his reply if he strikes back. usually people have a typical combo they like to stick to so you should learn this or try. Basically the goal is to get points and the KEY is to frustrate the enemy. knowing hey are behind on points should force them to attack your block. no need to rush if you are ahead in points just relax. If they dont do anything then its a easy ish win for you.
Blocking tips 1: you can hear where you are being punches by the sound of the punches. the stomach punches are deeper sounds and the face is high pitched sounds. you should also keep looking at your health bar. if you are bnlocking your face and your health goes down it means you need to block your stomach and this repeats non stop.
Blocking tips 2: You can dominate just about any fight with blocking. blocking allows you to attack better acutally. There are two options either they spam giving you free power ups then its a quick match. if they realise you block great and start blocking then thats perfect you can just play with them hitting them with any combo and big punch you want. if they try to defend by fighting back then block again get the power ups and show him who is the boss. 99% of the time the better blocker will win.
You got stunned tip 1: the reason you got stunned is either you got hit by a big combo you failed at blocking OR you failed at attacking and was punching your enemies block. Eitehr way you need to BLOCK and only BLOCK till you get power ups again. Listen to the punches and look at yuor health for a guide to where you are being hit. I manage to survive 75% of the time mostly if the enemy is not that good. While in stun you do no damage but your punches will still give the enemy power ups.. If you can survive the storm usually the enemy keeps punching even while you are back to normal. thats your chance to get power ups and stunning them right back knocking them down instead..

(BASIC) Kinect boxing Tips and Tricks.
You have two types of basic punches. small punches and big punches. small punches are when you only move your arm. you know you did a normal punch if you hit the
pesron and it did not knock them back.
to stun with 1 power up you need to do a 1-2 combo JAB then right cross. make sure you bring your shoulder back for the jab so its a hard jab then a hard right cross the combo usually stuns.
to stun with 2 power ups you only need one big punch like a right cross.
to stun with 3 power ups its too easy again it only takes one big punch.
pesron and it did not knock them back.
to do a big punch you need to bring your shoulder back befor you punch. you know when you did a big punch when it knocks the opponent back
Now that you know the types of punches. you can stun the opponent with 1-3 power ups. keep in mind doing a normal punch will simply waste the power ups unless you follow it up with a hard punch.
to stun with 1 power up you need to do a 1-2 combo JAB then right cross. make sure you bring your shoulder back for the jab so its a hard jab then a hard right cross the combo usually stuns.
to stun with 3 power ups its too easy again it only takes one big punch.
Finally if you stand in a real boxing stance your "power arm" in this case the right arm should back cocked back in your stance already. so everytime you do a right punch it SHOULD be a big punch. Having a propper boxing stance reduces punch wind up time. since you are already cocked back, the INSTANT you hear 2-3 power ups. let loose the MIGHTY RIGHT CROSS.
Note: right cross refers to a straight right punch. similar to a jab but with good technique is more powerfull. more often then not the right cross is a boxers strongest punch irl and in this game.
